Local Co- Ordinator Chiswick! :)

Post  Caroline on Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:04 pm

Hi everyone,

Just getting my head finally around using this forum! Might need to touch up on my computer skills!

I am Caroline, a nanny (now part-time), working within London. I am the Local Co-Ordinator for Chiswick area nannies, so am looking forward to meeting many of you. Feel free to message or ad me at any time!

Whilst this is all starting, it seems like quite a good idea if all 3 co-ordinators can sometimes join for joint events...so please girls let me know of all that is going on.

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, I have been living in London for just over 3 years. Along with nannying I do contract fashion design, and help run events with my partner, so we often have great things on, at both night and day which I will be sure to post on the calendar www.devallenger.com . As well as this I am also currently setting up an online childrens retail shop for children in the Australasian Market. Be sure to sign up for when I launch www.lovelondonkids.com

I adore children also, and love watching them grow and being so involved in their lives. I go home to my fiancee chatting about them all the time!

Hi everyone!

My name is Bree, I have recently joined KiwiOz and have signed up as a Local Coordinator for London. So firstly a big shout out to the other nannies and mannies here in London and to our other Coordinator Mieke. I trust between us we'll be able to come up with some fun things for us all to do and to get to know each other. I am excited to meet some of the other KiwiOz nannies!
So far London has been a lot of fun, however being from Auckland, New Zealand I'm having a bit of trouble adjusting to the cold, but they say it gets easier Wink
It's really cool to see a lot of people introducing themselves on here. If you want to get in contact with me or have any ideas for events you'd like to do, private message me or drop me a text - 07708086316 - I'm very easy to talk to and keen to make more friends in London.

We'll have more details about upcoming events soon!

Bree

Hey guys and gals
My name is Mieke Grooten and I am the Local Coordinator for Queens Park/Kilburn area of London. I am really looking forward to meeting other nannies that live in the area and in other areas of London too.
Don't you agree that this is a fantastic idea KiwiOz came up with getting this forum going!!! I don't know about you but I have only been living here about 4 months and although I am starting to build up a network of friends I still don't know a lot of people!!! Will be great to meet other Kiwis and Australians that live in London and may be feeling a similar way!!
It is hard to organise lots of activities and coffee dates when the forum is still brand new, but I think within a few weeks there will be a lot more members and I can start working with you to organise fun outings!!!!
Give me a text/call/email if you like.....07542209859/mieke43@hotmail.com, would love to hear from you!!

Re becoming a Local Coordinator

Post  Admin on Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:09 am

Hi Courtney,

Wow you must be busy! Well done to you for taking on two sets of multiples you might become a bit of a specialist!

I'll email you re the Local Coordinator scheme- we'd still love to have you on board even if you don't have a lot of time free during the day. We've put it together with busy nannies in mind so you should still be able to get involved Very Happy

Local Coordinators

Post  NannyCourt on Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:46 am

Hi Rachel
Have just seen the attachment that you sent in an email.
I'm interested in being a Local Coordinator however i have a few doubts.
I work with Triplets 2 days and we always stay close to home because i can't fit 3 carseats in my car and with newborn twins 2 day which we also stay close to home.
I have 3 days off and a lot of time off in the new year and love to meet new people and organise events as much as i can.
I'm really interested in progessing though this to be a local recruiter in the future.
Kind Regards
Courtney

Meet our Local Coordinators

Post  Admin on Thu Nov 11, 2010 12:11 pm

Hi Everyone,

Our Local Coordinators will be running local nanny networks where they are based. They'll be organising at least one social event per month and are there as a support to you as a nanny.

If there is a coordinator in your area and you'd like to meet some other local nannies then PM them via the forum.

If you'd like to be a Local Coordinator then please contact us!

Thanks

Rachel@KiwiOz Very Happy
